OUR Vision
We envision schools and communities where sustainability is integrated into everyday practices, fostering scientific inquiry and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
OUR Mission
We're on a mission to bridge the gap between humanity and nature. We believe in aligning one's head, heart, and hand to make this happen. So, we empower students, teachers, and communities with educational materials, spark curiosity and empathy through guided nature walks, and organize hands-on workshops on sustainable living practices.

About Us
Eco Vigyan Foundation came into existence just last year with a clear purpose – to enhance eco-club activities in schools throughout India. We hold a special fascination for unveiling the hidden significance of fungi in the grand tapestry of nature.
This endeavour was co-founded by ,who are sustainability educators with a profound commitment to environmental causes. Their expertise spans diverse fields, including biodiversity conservation, waste management, and fostering learning through nature.
Together, they've left an indelible mark, having collaborated with over 200 schools, reaching out to more than 10,000 students, partnering with 300+ teachers, and sharing their knowledge with over 100 community members and naturalists.
Our journey is marked by a belief that every child harbours a budding scientist within, and every educator has the potential to be a nature guide. Our mission is to instil a culture of sustainability and foster learning through nature in schools across India.
We've only just begun, and we invite you to join us on this path to a greener, more eco-conscious future. Welcome to our story, where each school, student, and community member plays a part in our shared mission.

mastering solid waste managemEnt
This is our pilot program, designed to empower institutes, households, and communities in waste management. A key highlight is our streamlined composting method, delivering compost in just 6-8 months. We also assist schools and organizations in hosting zero-waste events, where we upcycle waste, following the 3 R's principles.
Check out this video where school event turns into eco-friendly, zero-waste celebration, where waste transforms into event decorations & unique gifts

A look back of our walks from last year
A very interesting and informative mushroom walk organised by Shrey and Ashish. Never knew a whole new, exciting world of fungi existed right beside the road which I had passed countless times.

Grow your own mushrooms
This is an online, hands-on series of 8 sessions to help you grow your own oyster mushrooms on kitchen waste. Follow along & towards the end of this series, you will be able to successfully harvest your first crop in 30 days.
I am not sure which is easier- to push a car uphill single-handedly or to enthuse an 80-year person to get excited to grow mushrooms. But Shrey has done just that. I was successful. Oysters grew. I just followed what he told me to do. My family says there must be something extraordinary about him. They are absolutely right
Something that I couldn't even measure was the happiness which I got post getting the first harvest! It was invaluable!
